2021 BMW i4 Spy Shots
The BMW i4 has been snapped by professional photographers as soon as again, this time throughout hot weather testing in warm Europe.
Plenty of black-and-white camouflage adorns the body of this all-electric model, so it’s tough to see the information of the final style underneath.
We can see, however, that the i4 will be extremely carefully connected to the next-generation 4 Series Gran Coupe. It could well be simply an EV version of the new four-door coupe range– much like how the iX3 is an electrical X3 crossover.
Some distinctions between the combustion-powered 4 Series and i4 can be seen here, though, like the closed double-kidney grille which the company places on its electric vehicles, in addition to distinct door handles that sit more flush with the bodywork for boosted aerodynamic effectiveness.
2021 BMW i4 Features
Offered its close ties to the new-generation 4 Series, itself associated with the new 3 Series sedan and Exploring wagon, we can expect the i4 to provide BMW’s latest interior design integrating BMW OS7.0 infotainment and a complete suite of semi-autonomous motorist assistance technologies.
The i4 will be based on BMW’s modular CLAR architecture, which already underpins numerous models, including the 3 Series, 5 Series, and 7 Series, which has been developed to accommodate petrol, diesel, plug-in hybrid and all-electric powertrains.
In March, BMW stated the i4 would have a driving series of more than 600km on the WLTP testing cycle, while also can hitting 100km/h from a standstill in just 4.0 seconds.
